Enable Pop-Up Windows in your Browser

How to Enable Pop-Up Windows to View Learning Modules in Your LMS

Some learning modules in your course are designed to open in a new pop-up window when you click them. This includes interactive content, files, or other resources that launch outside the main course page.

If you click a module and nothing happens, your browser may be blocking pop-up windows. This is a common browser setting meant to stop unwanted ads—but it can also prevent your course content from opening properly.

✅ What Should Happen

When you click on a learning module or file, a new window or tab should appear displaying the content. If nothing opens, follow the instructions below to allow pop-ups in your browser.

🔧 How to Allow Pop-Ups in Your Browser

Google Chrome

  1. Click the module. If you see a message in the address bar like "Pop-up blocked", click it.

  2. Select "Always allow pop-ups and redirects from [https://www.digitalhub.lumifywork.com/]".

  3. Click Done.

  4. Try clicking the module again.

To set it manually:

  • Go to Settings > Privacy and security > Site settings > Pop-ups and redirects.

  • Add Digital Hub (https://www.digitalhub.lumifywork.com/) site to the Allowed to send pop-ups and use redirects list.

Mozilla Firefox

  1. Click the module. If a message appears saying "Firefox prevented this site from opening a pop-up window", click Options.

  2. Select "Allow pop-ups for (https://www.digitalhub.lumifywork.com/)".

  3. Try the module again.

To do it manually:

Microsoft Edge

  1. Click the module.

  2. If a message appears in the address bar about blocked pop-ups, click it.

  3. Select "Always allow pop-ups and redirects from this site".

  4. Refresh the page and try again.

Manual method:

Safari (Mac/iPhone/iPad)

On Mac:

  1. Go to Safari > Preferences > Websites.

  2. Click Pop-up Windows.

  3. Find Digital Hub (https://www.digitalhub.lumifywork.com/) site and choose Allow.

On iPhone/iPad:

  • Open Settings > Safari.

  • Turn off Block Pop-ups.

🔁 Still Not Working?

  • Try using another browser like Chrome or Firefox.

  • Disable any pop-up blockers or ad blockers in your browser.

  • Make sure your firewall or antivirus software isn’t blocking pop-ups.

  • If you’re using a school or work computer, contact your IT team—they may have security settings in place.
